How To Make Money Online (please note - understanding and implementing this - will set you apart from 97% of others...)
by Chris Farrell
WARNING! This article will change your perception of how to make money online!97% of people wanting to make money online - fail. 97%! Why is that so high? I'll tell you. Because - in all honesty - 97% of people online don't really understand what they are doing. And if you've been in that situation -- that's ok. Don't berate yourself - just admit it -- today's a new day - now lets move on and do something about it. What I am going to teach you at this Membership Site - is not some radical, new underground super doper mystical technique. In fact the opposite. What I am going to teach you -- is a battle hardened, money making method that marketers have been using for years -- both on and offline. One of the reasons I have done well in a relatively short amount of time -- is because I focus on the fundamentals. I create systems that work and I repeat them. This eliminates many of the bumps and hazards that many make in this business. I am going to teach you a system -- then when UNDERSTOOD -- and IMPLEMENTED -- works. There is a road map to making money online. Success leaves clues. I can attribute my success online to three little words: BUILDING. A. LIST.What does this mean? Let me tell you - and when you understand this - this will make the difference between failure and success online. 97% of people online will try and SELL straight away. WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG! Any successful web business works in fundamentally the same way -- and that is creating a web site that is of a certain topic. Then you GIVE SOMETHING AWAY FOR FREE -- to BUILD A LIST. This is the step that 97% of people MISS OUT! They are too busy trying to make a sale immediately. Once you begin to have a list -- you finally market related products to your list. Now of course - there is a little bit more to it than just this (like generating traffic to your free offer) - but if you understand the above - you understand more than most online. I hope I am conveying exactly how powerful this is. I teach this technique all the time - yet I still see many try and sell straight away. If you understand the power of BUILDING A LIST first - and then nurturing a relationship with your list BEFORE you try to sell (ie treating people as PEOPLE - NOT cyber credit cards) - then you will do well online.

It is so stupid simple that I can not even believe it. You build a list by giving away something of value You nurture the list by continuing to give things of value. Then you sell to the list,, things of value. Chris teaches us the mechanics of HOW TO DO IT. Finally.. I can make campaign after campaign now.. so easy.. It is fun and very rewarding!!!!
Chris is the only guy to trust online. Many of the other so called masters and gurus should spend a few days here to see how this business really should be done. Jesse
So glad to be a part of your membership site Chris. I want to thank you for your gift of videos a couple of months ago. You are one of a handful of IMarketers that I completely trust. I look forward to creating something worthy together. Larry Williams, Memphis
.. words of wisdom just keep falling from your lips!! Seriiously, as you keep instilling in us, the list is the all-important part of this business and treating those on your list as you would want to be treated. As Chris treats all of us ... Julie
You are Accountable to your list and if you treat the members honestly and with integrity they will feel Accountable to you. Great Article Chris with some great comments Tony

97% that is a huge number and that only leaves 3% of us left. Although I don't make money the same way Chris does. YET! I have watched so many of my fellow VA's fail and for almost the same exact reason as Chris is talking about. They use the Virtual Assistant Business as a stepping stone and start creating all these products or sign up for all these different affiliates and blasting them out to their list. They get you to sign up for their list with some great free report and then here come the blast. They don't care who you are. They care what you will buy from them. They loose track of their VA business because they are so worried about how they can make that passive income off their list. I have signed up for many peoples list and I want to say that I would rather be treated as a person then blasted at ever other day. One of the things I do for my list is give them the free report and then don't blast them. If I have something important to say or talk about I will send that to them. But I had to learn the hard way that you don't want to blast your list with affiliate links. Specially if you have not tried the product yourself. How can you tell someone how great this product is if you have not truly read or tried the product. Tell those people on your list how great you are. How much they mean to you. Make them think you care about them because you do. I can tell you that Chris cares about every single person on his list. Because when they email him and Chris and I are going over those emails in the mornings he wants to reply to each one himself and he wants to make sure that you feel warm and fuzzy and that you know we are real live people replying and not just an autorepsonder. Ok Ok, I will get off my soap box now. Sorry.
That little saying just made it to the top of my "things to remember" list. I will never understand why people always feel the need to re-invent the wheel. * Find someone who is doing what you want to do. * Do exactly the same thing that person is doing. * Don't be surprised when you are a success! Nice article, Chris. Dave
Please take it from one who knows. I tried for over 3 years to sell online 'cold' as Chris calls it. I made a handful of sales. Since being a member here and learning HOW to do it properly, I have a small list now of a few hundred, and make a small amount of $$$ every week online. It is so much easier that worrying about generating traffic all the time. Yet again folks, Chris teaches what works. Pay attention to him! Great site. Douglas
