How To INSTANTLY Feel Better and GET MORE DONE!
by Chris Farrell
Hi , Please may I quickly share something with you - that may sound a bit radical - but if you implement this - it will make you feel FANTASTIC . This may sound a bit scary at first... ...and some will not do this. But I 100% gold-encrusted GUARANTEE - that if you do carry this action through - you will feel FANTASTIC afterwards. And on top of that... ...you will end up GETTING MORE DONE with your day. That can only be a good thing. Right? So...are you ready to take this leap of faith with me? It's a VERY SIMPLE thing to do as well... Ready? Ok - here we go. I want you to go into your email INBOX... ...scroll back 10 days... ..and then every email that you have received before 10 days from now... ...DELETE!!!Are you feeling better already?! Despite convincing yourself otherwise - you are NEVER going to read these emails. But...I haven't finished yet. Not only do I want you to delete these message - I then want you to (and this is REALLY SCARY...) ...UNSUBSCRIBE FROM EVERY LIST YOU ARE ON!!!Wow - cathartic huh?! I have recently been working with a few individuals - and I noticed that most have hundreds - some even thousands - of unread emails cluttering up their Inbox. Most of them from Internet Marketing 'names' - some big some small. We've all seen emails such as this: - grab your free report here.Download $437 worth of free gifts... Have you seen this amazing traffic technique ?? In fact - when I began online - my email Inbox used to look like this:
And look at this....
These are ALL messages I used to 'collect' from tons of lists I signed up to. I wasted so much time in my first few months - spending hour after hour trawling through these emails - signing up for more lists - downloading more products - getting more confused. After a few months - enough was enough! I started UNsubscribing to 99% of these lists - and as I unsubscribed - a funny thing happened. I began to get a more done. I became more proactive. Today - my email Inbox looks like this:
PLEASE TRUST ME ON SOMETHING ... ...you do not need any of these messages. And I really do mean any of them. And not only do you NOT need them - you are never going to read them anyway. But deep down inside I know you know this already. You will get SO much more done with your day - if you delete ALL of these messages - NOW. You do NOT need this emotional bullying. So... ...delete all your old emails over 10 days old. And then - unsubscribe from everyone's list. Don't you feel better just thinking about this!!! Today is the first day of the rest of your life - so lets make this change RIGHT NOW. Then - tomorrow morning - when you have just 3 'real' messages - from 3 real people that you actually care about - instead of 127 'Hi have you seen this amazing report' messages from 127 people who are only trying to get to your credit card... ...you will feel TERRIFIC!!!! Does your heart ever sink when you log on to your email? If so - then that's a real sign you need to do this. And do it today. Mark my words - doing this right now - will make you feel liberated and terrific in a few hours time!

Wellsaid Chris.I can't seem to get anything done because of junk.Thank you!!
Yep, spring cleaning the inbox is something I do all the time. Don't need to go through this process, because I pretty much do something similar already. Don't subscribe to many lists anymore ...only the brilliant exceptions to the rule - such as Chris Farrell
You got it Chris! Is all true. Is really a Job to read all those emails. That's it all done, deleted, bye. :) Thanks.
This issue is exactly why I haven't made more progress in the last 4 years. It takes a LOT of time to go through hundreds of e-mails, and almost 100% of the time, you won't read them. Like Chris, I read every e-mail, downloaded every "free report," and what did I have at the end of the day; another day's worth of reports and emails I never did get around to reading. I am now DELETING EVERYTHING, but it can be challenging, as some e-mails do have a way of creeping back in. Many thanks, Corinne
If I ever wanted to help some by telling them where I slipped up all I have to do is change the name on your blog since I started sending my emails to my junk folder my life has changed I got that way I didn't want to open my computer it was so depressing and I knew it was a load of bull thanks once again Chris. cheers Peter
I had it so bad that I have 6 email addresses: one for shopping, one for my bookkeeping business, one of another start up, one for my writing, one for my website and one for personal. I thought that this would keep the clutter down and at least sort of sorted out into categories. What I wound up with was 6 email addresses that were completely jammed!! Now I have six empty inboxes. HUURRRRAAAAYYYY!!! I have also stopped reading and passing on all those cute-fuzzy-feel-good messages. If it is not something that I am interested in I delete it. Thanks so much. Lallah
I went the whole hog and deleted all messages! Amazing!
YES!! Finally I have unsubscribed to all the lists that I had joined! :) I have decided to do this long ago, but today Chris gave me a push and... YES I MADE IT! :) Thanks!
Spot On! Those darn emails are like Waves - but I am never going to read any of the 120,000 unread ones - so I can't unsubscribe from them either. What I have done though is: 1) Set up a separate email account for all the opt in lists - that's where the 120 thousand went. (I scan that box immediate;y after I know I have to confirm - and I can see by the title usually that it is there! 2) Set up a separate email account for Affiliate Sign-ups 3) Set up a separate account for Family and Close Friends 4) ... one for Business Associates 5) ... One for dealing with Enquiries from website customers 6) ... one from ... whatever other Special Categories you might like to have ..... and I don't read or go to each box daily - I visit them each weekly, or more frequently when there is something going on or I am expecting mail. (I now treat Email like the Post Office - and I only check that once a week)
Yeah, I'd been putting that one off for a while, but didn't realise, you're right Chris, I've been spending 30 mins to an hour a day, just going through e-mails. hahhaha
